As I was going through the files to update the final payments for the Emergency Construction Projects, I realized that I almost missed an opportunity to bring to your attention the sharp performance of Papich Construction Team. They worked hard and were determined, persistent, and creative throughout the course of these very difficult projects to ensure safety, professionalism, and most importantly finishing the projects on time and in accordance with Plans and Specifications. The team faced numerous challenges such as working night shifts and weekends to get the work done before the rain/cold season started. They coordinated with local farmers during the harvest season, and ensured the safety of the motorists passing through the construction site while construction was going at full speed.

Please extend my sincere appreciation to your entire team for their hard work and dedication. Each member played a vital role in bringing these projects to fruition, and their contributions are truly valued.

Throughout the project, Papich was faced with challenges that they were able to overcome with ease through their use of excellent communication, coordination, and decision making. Any time a problem arose it was clear that Papich aligned themselves with their client and worked to solve issues as a team rather than become adversarial. The Papich project team remained responsible, responsive, and very professional throughout the entire project. 

The partnering process required the project team to focus on mutual goals by asking the right questions timely to get team members to identify and act on critical issues.

The quality and speed of work from our contractors and subcontractors has continued to amaze me. The innovation to tunnel the large 10-foot culvert allowed us to open the roadway approximately one month earlier than we could have if we installed it during fill construction.
